From education and journalism to public service and economic empowerment, these five phenomenal women embody excellence, vision, and a commitment to uplifting others. Their journeys reflect not only personal achievement but a collective dedication to building stronger communities. Their stories are truly inspirational, and Data News Weekly is proud to present our Phenomenal Women of 2026.

 Rose J. Hudson: Leading with Integrity and Innovation

Rose J. Hudson has served as President and CEO of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation since 2006, becoming one of the longest-tenured lottery CEOs in the nation. Under her leadership, the Lottery has contributed billions to Louisiana’s K–12 Public Education System while embracing modernization, innovation, and operational excellence. Her leadership has helped position Louisiana as a National Model in the Lottery Industry.

Her work continues to uplift communities through mentorship, scholarship, and public service.

As CEO of Teamer Strategy Group, she has worked across institutions to strengthen systems, improve outcomes, and expand opportunities for students and communities. Her influence spans research, policy, and leadership development at the highest levels.

A New Orleans native, she brings authenticity, depth, and compassion to her reporting. Her work continues to inform, inspire, and advocate for meaningful change.
