Robert H. “Bob” Tucker Jr., a prominent Civil Rights Activist, successful businessperson, and dedicated community leader, passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 82. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 29, 1941, Robert was the second of three children born to Rev. Robert H. Tucker Sr. and Mattie Amacker Tucker. A Celebration of his amazing and impactful life took place on March 11, 2023. Family, friends, community and civic leaders were on hand to commemorate this occasion.
