As the City of New Orleans recovers from the devastating impact of Hurricane Ida, the Fall elections have been moved to November 13th, and the runoff election will be on December 11th.
This gives time for citizens who have not registered to vote the opportunity to do so.
The deadlines to register to vote have also changed. In order to vote this Fall, you must register in person or by mail by Oct. 13th or online by Oct. 23rd.
Data News Weekly encourages all to get out and VOTE.
