Entergy New Orleans has announced the addition of two seasoned leaders to its Executive Team, naming Sharonda Williams as Vice President of Regulatory and Public Affairs and Kea Sherman as Vice President of Customer Service and Economic Development.

The appointments signal a continued commitment by the utility provider to strengthen service delivery, enhance customer engagement, and support economic growth across the city. Both leaders bring extensive experience in law, public policy, and community engagement—key areas as New Orleans continues to navigate infrastructure demands and economic development opportunities.

“Mrs. Sherman and Ms. Williams each bring extensive expertise, a deep commitment to public service, and a clear understanding of the needs of our community,” said Deanna Rodriguez, President and CEO of Entergy New Orleans. “Their leadership will advance our efforts to deliver reliable service, improve customer experience, and support economic growth across the city. We are proud to welcome them to the team.”

Leadership in Customer Service and Economic Development

In her new role, Kea Sherman will oversee Customer Service Operations and Economic Development Initiatives, supporting more than 200,000 Entergy customers while working to attract new business investment and job opportunities to the region.

Sherman joins the company from the Washington, D.C.-based Law Firm Van Ness Feldman, where she served as Senior Policy Counsel and led Federal Advocacy Efforts before Congress and regulatory agencies. A Louisiana native, Sherman is licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and the District of Columbia and has previously founded and led a Civil Litigation Firm and a Government Affairs Practice.

Her leadership extends deeply into Civic Engagement. Sherman currently serves as President of the Clover Board of Directors, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, and the World Trade Center’s International Trade Council. Her prior service includes roles with the Industrial Development Board, Louisiana Environmental Education Commission, and several nonprofit organizations focused on workforce and community development.

She holds a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Guiding Regulatory and Public Affairs Strategy

Sharonda Williams will lead Entergy New Orleans’ Regulatory and Governmental Affairs Strategy, helping guide policy initiatives and strengthen relationships with stakeholders across the public and private sectors.

Williams joins Entergy from Loyola University New Orleans, where she served as Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel. With more than two decades of experience, she has advised municipalities, major institutions, and previously served in the New Orleans City Attorney’s Office under former Mayor Mitch Landrieu.

Her Civic Leadership includes board service with the New Orleans Bar Foundation, French Quarter Festivals, Inc., the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and the Greater New Orleans Foundation. She has also held appointments with the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana and the Port of New Orleans Commission.

Williams earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Positioned for the Future

With these strategic appointments, Entergy New Orleans continues to position itself for long-term growth and community impact. Company officials say the combined leadership of Sherman and Williams will play a critical role in advancing initiatives that benefit customers, strengthen infrastructure, and support a more resilient and economically vibrant New Orleans.
