Hall hosts the syndicated Tamron Hall Show, which premiered in September 2019. The talk show host appeared stunned by the win and gave a virtual acceptance speech — wearing a bathrobe.

“Thank you so much to the Daytime Emmys. My mom said I shouldn’t look like this,” a makeup-free Hall said. “I just got a call that I won an Emmy for my first year of a daytime talk show!”

The Tamron Hall Show features a mix of celebrity guests along with topics ranging from beauty secrets to social issues.

The series is produced and distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television, and was recently renewed for a second season.

She continues on her journey as the heir to the thrown of longtime queen of daytime TV Oprah Winfrey.
