The Final Four Returns to New Orleans

The Final Four is coming to New Orleans again. After 64 it is now down to four. Kansas, Villanova, Duke and North Carolina. It will take place at Caesars Superdome April 2nd and April 4th.

While basketball will be on top of the menu, many events will be going on all over the Crescent City during this weekend.

It’s been a decade since the Final Four was in New Orleans having an economic impact of $170 million dollars. After COVID-19 restrictions being lifted and the beginning of festival season, a larger economic impact is expected.

One added addition will be Woldenberg Park transforming into the 2022 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. It will span the entire width of Woldenberg Park and is a 3-day free music festival as part of the Final Four weekend.

Some of the music that will be on performed includes national Music acts such as Khalid, Arcade Fire, and Imagine Dragons will be headlining the March Madness Music Fest.

Also, other local favorites will take the stage as well. Trombone Shorty, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and so many others will be part of this great weekend. New Orleans is moving back to some sense of normal and festival season is upon us so Laissez les bon temp rouler.
