Cash Money and No Limit Bring Historic Tour Home to New Orleans

Two of the most influential music empires ever to emerge from New Orleans are coming home. Cash Money Records and No Limit Records will bring their highly anticipated Joint Arena Tour to the Smoothie King Center on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at 8 p.m.

The homecoming promises to be more than a concert. It will be a celebration of a generation of New Orleans Artists who helped transform Southern Hip-Hop from a regional sound into a Global Cultural Force.

The tour features Cash Money stars Birdman, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh and B.G., alongside No Limit favorites Master P, Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Mercedes, Choppa Style and Mr. Serv-On. Louisiana Rap Star Lil Boosie is also scheduled as a Special Guest.

For New Orleans audiences, the lineup represents decades of Hometown Music History. Cash Money and No Limit rose from New Orleans neighborhoods during the 1990s and built nationally recognized brands while helping redefine the possibilities for Southern artists and independent Black-Owned Music Enterprises.

“The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time,” Master P said when the tour was announced. “We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before — movements that changed music, Hip Hop Culture, and the business forever.”

From Verzuz to a National Tour

The tour follows the massive response to the Cash Money vs. No Limit Verzuz at ComplexCon in Las Vegas on Oct. 25, 2025.

The highly anticipated battle marked the return of Verzuz and became a major cultural event. Streamed live on Apple Music, the matchup attracted more than 8.4 million live viewers worldwide and trended heavily across social media. The performance featured hits from both legendary catalogs and included a surprise appearance by Snoop Dogg with No Limit.

That night demonstrated that the music created by these New Orleans labels decades ago continues to resonate across generations.

Now, the celebration is coming back to the city where both movements began.

The New Orleans performance comes one night after the tour opens Sept. 11th in Houston and is part of a 17-City Run across the country.

For longtime fans, Sept. 12th will offer an opportunity to revisit the soundtrack of an era. For younger audiences, it will be a chance to experience the artists who helped put New Orleans Hip-Hop on the world stage.
