On July 11th voters went to the polls and ballot boxes and let their voices be heard. Louisiana held its Presidential Primaries and also several municipal races were on the ballot.

Not surprisingly, Democrat Former Vice-President Joe Biden and Republican President Donald Trump handily won their nominating contest and will face off against each other in the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election.

On the ballot in New Orleans, the race for 1st City Court Judge Section B, five candidates vied for this post and with 100% of the precincts reporting Marissa Hutabarat came in first place with 32% of the vote followed by Sara Lewis with 30% and in third place Schalyece Harrison with 14%.

The stage has been set for the run-off election in the race for Judge of 1st City Court Section B between Marissa Hutabarat and Sara Lewis will be in the run-off election that will take place on August 15, 2020.
