Friends of King School District Hosted A Community Career Fair

Multiple Positions were Open to Applicants including Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Custodians, and Security Guards

On Saturday, March 26th the Friends of King School District hosted a Community Career Fair to fill multiple vacancies within their staff.

Job seekers were able to apply for in-demand positions such as teachers and paraprofessionals (elementary school, middle school, high school, and special education), custodians, and security guards. Interviews were also conducted on site.

“We look forward to finding candidates who will not only make an impact here in The Greater New Orleans area, but someone who will leave a lasting impression on our kids’ lives. As our school district is on the rise, we believe this will benefit the community in many ways,” said Gloria Miles, Director of Admissions.

Friends of King School District offers a wide variety of competitive teacher benefits such as on-site professional development, comprehensive health program, employment assistance program, and teacher-driven curricula development. They also provide an education foundation, which raises funds for teacher incentive grants and recognition activities, and much more.
