National Urban League & Urban League of Louisiana Joined Local Business & Community Leaders, to Discuss Impact of the Nation’s Largest Civil Rights and Urban Advocacy Conference Slated for New Orleans July 24th -27th.

NEW ORLEANS — National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial and Urban League of Louisiana President and CEO Judy Reese Morse joined local business leaders on Wednesday, May 15th, to discuss the impact of the National Urban League Conference slated for July and the opportunities it presents for the region and community.

A media briefing was held at 10 am at the Urban League of Louisiana, 4640 S Carrollton Ave., New Orleans.

Hosted by the Urban League of Louisiana, the Conference is slated for July 24th – 27th at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The Conference will explore the challenges of systemic racism, discrimination, and barriers to opportunity in every aspect of the current social and economic landscape and bring together leading innovators and trailblazers in business and industry, government, and community.

In addition to dynamic panel discussions, information-packed workshops and forums, and plenary sessions for registered attendees, the Conference features free events open to the public including a Career and Networking Fair, the Community & Family Day Expo, and the Small Business Matters Entrepreneurship Summit.

Marc Morial will kick off Wednesday, July 24th, with a city-wide Reclaim Your Vote Rally at Xavier University.
