Former New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Michelle Woodfork is joining the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office as the Forensics and Intelligence Director.
Last week, New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams announced the appointment. Woodfork will be working closely with NOPD Homicide Detectives to perfect communications and other measures that help investigators focus on the most violent criminals in the city.
Woodfork will also be working with digital tools to advance the way cases are solved. District Attorney Williams says he was impressed with her dedication and years of service to the city.
