New Orleans, La. – May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In a groundbreaking collaboration with CVS Health, and Reach Worldwide, Greater St. Stephen Ministries hosted A Night of Education: Purpose & Power in the Digital Era. This free “Live Watch Party” occurred on Friday, May 10th.
A Night of Education: Purpose & Power in the Digital Era was aimed at supporting youth, teens, parents, and caregivers in navigating the challenges of Mental Wellness in today’s world. The “Live Watch Party” format featured dynamic presentations, expert-led discussions, and interactive activities designed to resonate with participants of all ages. The event provided valuable insights, resources, and encouragement for all attendees.
“We were thrilled to partner with CVS Health and Reach Worldwide to bring this vital event to our community,” said Bishop-Elect T. Delbert Robinson, Senior Pastor of Greater St. Stephen. “By joining forces, we were able to offer a holistic approach to mental health support, reaching individuals at every stage of their journey and empowering them to thrive.”
Mental Health concerns among young people have reached alarming levels in recent years, exacerbated by societal pressures, academic stress, and the pervasive influence of social media. At A Night of Education: Purpose & Power in the Digital Era youth accessed age-appropriate resources and activities aimed at fostering resilience and self-care, while parents and caregivers received vital information on recognizing warning signs, accessing support services, and promoting Mental Wellness within their families.
