Dress for Success New Orleans Host Teacher Appreciation Week

As the back-to-school season approaches, Dress for Success New Orleans (DFSNO) is extending a warm invitation to female educators in the New Orleans Metropolitan area and beyond to attend its Annual Back-to-School Teacher’s Appreciation Week. This event offers all female teachers, educators, or administrators the opportunity to visit DFSNO and receive three complimentary items to enhance their wardrobe as they return to school.

Lori Byargeon, Executive Director at Dress for Success New Orleans expressed, “We deeply value the significant role that teachers play in shaping our community’s future, and it is our privilege to show our gratitude by providing them with empowering outfits, The goal of our Teacher Appreciation Event is to not only acknowledge their dedication and hard work but also offer them a special personal shopping experience that they truly deserve. We are honored to support these remarkable women who inspire and empower our youth daily.”

Educators from all institutions and levels will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of fashion brands that includes suits, dresses, blouses, pants and blazers. The Dress for Success team of volunteers will be on hand to offer styling tips and suggestions, ensuring that these educators have a unique shopping experience tailored to their needs.

Teachers can visit DFSNO, July 9-11, between the hours 10AM – 4PM, at 1700 Josephine St, New Orleans, LA 70113. No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are welcome, however everyone is asked to bring an identification of the place of employment.
