Last week, District E City Councilmember Oliver Thomas honored employees in a very New Orleans style with a Crawfish Boil. Employees from various City departments were on hand for the celebration.

“The employees of the City of New Orleans are hard working men and women. If you recall, this is something I’ve done in the past when I was Council President. So, this would be a great way we can continue to show our appreciation,” said Thomas of the event that was well attended.

“It was an honor to see so many of them come out and enjoy the event. Listen, nothing moves without them and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a dedicated partner. Thanks for all the sponsors for their support and my staff for assisting.”
