NEW ORLEANS—On Saturday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Dem Girls Vote, an initiative of Power Woman, founded by Dr. Debra Morton, hosted an Early Voting Drive-in Rally, in collaboration with ALY Media Relations’ Metropolitan Women for Biden-Harris. The purpose of the event was to empower women to exercise their right to vote early from Oct. 16th through 27th and to educate voters on the various items included on the ballots for the upcoming election.
Guests also had the opportunity to hear directly from candidates for local elections such as District Attorney, Judges for Civil District Court, Criminal District Court and LA Supreme Court as well as School Board candidates. There was also be an opportunity to learn more about the proposed amendments on the ballots.
