The first quarterly Business Meets Chess and Kids Tournament took place on last week meeting an arousing expression of appreciation from both the business professionals as well as the kids who participated. The event brought together volunteers from the business world, along with kids from area schools, in a quest to have them mentor and groom the youth in the game of chess and life. The mission of Chess NOLA is to build the community through chess, one move at a time. The date of the next meeting will be released at a later date.
